After breakfast, caught a bus to the national park, and started a 12km trek. About 20-25 people in the group, and most of them were wearing sandals or slipons (myself and Darryl booted up), the trek crosses six 'mountains' over the 12km and is mainly through jungle and some grassy areas, most of the trek was either steep uphill or steep downhill, the fact it had pissed rain on the previous day made most of the downhill sections slippy especially for people in sandals, the net effect being about 4 or 5 of us went ahead for most of the last section and sat around waiting for the others to catch up, surprisingly enough no injuries among the group at all, we got picked up at a village by boat and taken back around to the main town, after a bit of swimming and diving from the boat, good group of people in the boat on the way back.....
Dinner in the hotel was good, as the night before there were seven people in our group, but there was only the two of us on the second night and we got nearly as much food...
had a beer with a German guy who was on the trek, who was travelling south to north but without really using organised tours and who had some good experiences,
